We’re here and we’re exhausted! Ruth and I pulled into Doubling Gap Center near Carlisle, PA late this afternoon, and by now all but one minister and a couple of students have arrived.
Last week was very good, but packed. I was grateful to finish Sunday’s sermon on Wednesday. On Thursday I wrote the devotional guides for this summer conference, and on Friday I worked up the three seminars I’ll be teaching. I helped with the yard cleanup at church Saturday morning while Ruth prepared the seminar handouts, then spent the rest of the day getting ready to leave for the week.
This morning I taught Sunday School and preached, then we drove to Doubling Gap. You can hear my sermon here, and see the video here.
This week is also packed. Next week I will post some pictures of our summer conference.
