Last week we wrapped up the residual affairs with RUF and began discussing our next adventure. Throughout the week I continued to field phone calls and emails from friends and associates. Wednesday evening I met with the elders of our church to discuss a ministry proposal. Thursday we had another snow storm, so more hours of shoveling! In between meetings, conversations, and snow shoveling I updated our contacts, reorganized our files, and updated dozens of ministry documents. Friday night our elders agreed to hire me for a short-term position. I will work part-time for the church and part-time doing assorted other ministry activities.
Guess what is coming next week — more snow!
