Most of last week was taken up with administrative tasks. Every time I sat down to do something a new administrative issue appeared, so I spent a lot of time working on those last week. Administrative tasks are tedious, but the payoff is that when properly settled, they save a lot of time in the future. I think we are close to taking care of administrative tasks, but more will probably emerge.
By Friday I was able to begin turning my attention to employment. Ruth and I had a delightful lunch with our pastor and his wife, who pitched an idea for us here in the Lehigh Valley. I hope to decide on a short-term job this week, implement that decision next week, and begin working on February 15. That will give us several months to consider a long-term position. But first I expect to shovel a lot of snow tomorrow.
