It’s still the calm before the storm for me, but campus ministers are busy contacting freshmen. How can we contact students who aren’t on campus yet, and may never get to campus this fall? Social media! RUF is making extensive use of Facebook, Instagram, text messaging, and other social media to find students who may be interested in Christian fellowship, or at least want some good friends at university – in other words, students in whom God is working to draw to Himself and to RUF. I sent several emails to campus ministers last week, and heard hardly a peep. That means they are busy reaching students. Pray for us!
I completed the first draft of my fall travel calendar. Next is filling in the details and booking hotels. Ruth and I are taking a few days off to spend with Peter’s family – before the storm!
