I finished! My goal last week was to write the Sunday School lessons for the adult class this fall – 11 total. The title of the class is “What to do When God Blesses Your Enemy,” featuring studies in Jonah and Habakkuk. I will polish them as I go, but it is wonderful to have most of the work finished before the busy travel season hits.
That took most of last week, and I filled in the rest of the time with emails, phone calls, etc. Meanwhile on campus, our RUF ministries are reaching more students than ever. Trip Beans reported attendance at his small groups of 15-20 and his largest Large Group Meeting ever. Michael Goodlin collected 120 names at the Lehigh Club Fair – the most ever. Lucas Dourado saw a large number of new students at his first Large Group Meeting at UConn. Oliver Pierce collected over 100 names in his first freshman outreach at IUP. Praise God for so much fruit from our efforts!
This is my last week at home. I will be tying up details before I head to Mexico next week.
