I was at home all last week! I can’t remember the last time that happened. My main project was preparing for RUF Assessment this week. Ruth and I are assigned to three men interested in ministry with RUF. I read their materials, called references, listened to their sermons, and participated in a video conference with the other assessors. Then is the ongoing work…
I’ve been repairing a foundation wall in a corner of our basement. The mortar in our old house is poor quality and continually decomposes and drips onto the floor, leaving big gaps between the foundation stones. Last week I mostly finished working on one corner and moved on to another. It’s satisfying to do projects which have tangible results, and the exercise feels good.
Ruth and I are flying to Atlanta now for Assessment. We return Friday evening.
