We spent most of last week in Morgantown, WV visiting Peter and Megan and the grandchildren. While there I wrote my sermon and moved on to investigating international insurance and other such mundane matters. I’m not a complete lout. I consulted the calendar a month ago and noted that Mother’s Day was next week. My grievous error was brought to light by a broadcast email from our pastor in which he mentioned as an aside that Mother’s Day was the Sunday upcoming! Yikes! My sermon seemed to go well, and the day was significantly enhanced by Stephen and Annie who drove up from Maryland to spend the day with us.
This week I’ll plunge more deeply into the tangled web of insurance. Check back next week to see if I survived.
