I wrote last week the day before RUF Assessment. It went surprisingly well! It’s impressive how much you can learn about people just online. No one thinks this is as good as meeting in-person, but I think we got a reasonable idea of the capabilities of the candidates. Ruth and I enjoyed spending some time with the Westminster Seminary student assigned to us.
Staff Training is next week, and I am spending most of my time getting ready for it. Because of the pandemic we replaced our national gathering in Dallas with optional regional gatherings. I am leading the retreat with the Mid-Atlantic ministers in State College. I have completed preparation for several devotional messages. The biggest task ahead is preparing seminars and discussion sessions. Summer campus reports are due today, so I will spend the rest of the week also reading those.
