Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a beautiful and merry Christmas season celebrating the incarnation. What a wonderful thing that God would choose to become man!
Most of Ruth’s family came to town for a few days before Christmas, and we visited my brothers in Maryland a few days after. All of our children were here except Stephen, who is serving us with the army in Korea. Ruth and I were also able to go to Morgantown, WV, to celebrate the 1-year birthday of Isaac, and visit with Peter’s family.
RUF doesn’t stop during the Christmas season, but things do slow down. The period between semesters is a prime opportunity to catch up and clean up in the office. I spent several days planning my winter/spring travel schedule, and I have a working plan now. The rest of the past couple of weeks have been filled with general office work and communicating with ministers and other coordinators.
